New Club Representaives

Congratulations to our Club Representatives


For the new year the gavel will be exchanged to a new pair of hands.  Let us congratulate and a give a thanks to Den for taking over as the new club president and Steve who will be our new Vice President.  Marilyn is passing the pen to Kennedy and we thank her for all her hard work and to Kennedy for stepping up to help the club out.

Thank you Craig for your services and your time as President.  Great job.

Coin Carvings with a Twist

I ran into a unique carving on the net and thought I would share the link.   Here's a little bit about  the article.

Artist Paolo Curcio is behind these imaginative steampunk coin carvings. This series is called Hobo Nickel Art, and some of these coins actually include small depictions of homeless drifters, carrying bags over their shoulders. Curcio's coin collection is intriguing because it places artworks on unusually tiny canvases.

Native American Music Presentation

There is a display at the Merced County library the shows some historic and interesting pieces of a time long ago.  Its theme stems around the music that once was used for many occasions within the nations of the Native Americans.  So take some time and support our library by visiting this display and be mesmerized by creative designs and beauty of the Native American musical instruments.
